Website won't let check in online---should I worry?

We have a flight from Oz to LAX tomorrow in business class. These are award seats I booked almost a year ago with BA Avios. I chose seats upstairs long ago.

Sometime after booking ( months later) I saw an alert when I checked MMB, advising that the flight time had changed ( making it about 35 minutes later). It said to "contact my travel agent" to confirm the change. I called BA and they said as long as we were OK with the change ( which we are) we need do nothing more. But the alert has remained on our MMB page and now I can not check-in online---it says "check in at airport". Should I be worried about getting bumped? Is there anything I should do other than wait til tomorrow and arrive at the airport 3 hours before the flight?

Ring them just to ease your concern but you should be fine. Every so often I can't checkin online and just do so at the airport (no idea why).

OK, thanks. I am ringing them just in case. On hold now.

What is the local number in Melbourne? The website only gives "131313" as the number for booking inquiries. That doesn't appear to be a valid number. I can call for free from our hotel if I can find the right number.

They likely want to physically check your passports.

131313 is a valid number from anywhere in Australia. 13-numbers are charged at local calls rates, although if you're calling from a hotel or a mobile YMMV.

Try (03) 9658 5302 - that's QFF - ask to be put through to 'reservations'.

I finally did connect on the 13133 number. All sorted and we are on our way.
