Sliders, Hot Dogs & Tacos for Inaugural DFW Flight?

Other than the ribeye steak, I would not be pleased if the offerings were either sliders, hotdogs, or tacos on a 14+ hour flight.

On the plus side, they will have three jet bridges to board and disembark. When I flew on the A380 at LAX, there were only two. DFW Ready for World's Largest Passenger Plane

The tacos look like a disaster for those charged with cleaning the aircraft - or that may just be a reflection on how I can't eat those things without making a mess.

The Rib Eye is available in F
The Tacos in J
The Hot Dog in W
The Sliders in Y

With the exception of the sliders which is the midflight refreshment on DFW (and on LAX) the other items are in addition to the current menu and are being offered until October 5th.

I would take sliders, tacos and hotdogs over regular airline "food" any day of the week.
In fact, when I fly DFW-HKG on AA in J on Thursday, I plan to make a lunch of brisket tacos in the Amex Centurion Lounge before boarding rather than eat whatever "food" is served on the flight.

The article states the option of the themed items in additions to the normal menu. I'd be happy with some of these as a mid flight snack.

They're the flavour of the month in Australia at the moment.

Means you're allowed to eat three though, before you start getting disapproving looks from SWMBO...

OK - I get it now. So, it's the perfect meal for those who have been in the pub all night and have absolutely no more room in their stomach for "real" food.
