Apologies for bringing this thread back up.
Can anyone please confirm that SYD-LAX-JFK QF107/108 on the 744 no longer has a F Class product for sale?

As a general rule, that's correct. Very occasionally they'll run an A388 on the SYD-LAX section with First on sale, but it never extends to JFK.

It is, however if you add in the QF code on EK operated flights, it suddenly becomes a very long list.

There is no refurbished F. It is either new F on the A380 or old F operated on 744's.

no... but... if your flight has old F then it also has old J... something you don't want to endure (ie go for F, it is still a decent product)
