Naaah, he got suspended
For those flying VA, there is the NPX47 promo code which may assist. It’s 10% off all fares – must book 20 days in advance - book by 31st Dec - travel by 30 June 15. Seems to fit nicely

As far as I can see there is no city or venue as yet. I'd propose the QP in BNE - just to revisit the scene of the crime. It'd rely on our good and untarnished reputation with the lounge manager to help facilitate this - calling QF WP . What do you all reckon? Early agreement would help the travel process.

Sad news to post to this thread abut inaugural attendee thadocta.
In Memoriam - Dave Proctor (thadocta) who was apparently found dead yesterday morning. Don't have any other details but will keep a close eye on reports.
Many thanks to Bundy Bear who alerted me yesterday after seeing mentions in his FB feed.
So, to departed friends - but not forgotten

It is always sad to hear the passing of someone you know, even if your only contact is through an anonymous handle via an internet forum.
RIP Dave, I appreciated your contributions over the years.

RIP thadocta
I also met him at a QF AGM years ago and og's words resonate with me.
Dave was the very first Oz FTer I met in the BNE QP at my first attendance all those years ago. He was part of the warm welcoming. His comments, sometimes sharp remarks and in-depth knowledge of QF processes helped clarify issues and provided a sound and solid contribution to the FT debate. I'll miss him and his contributions.
