China Southern: LAX to DEL in J for $2094 RT
 
Was looking for flights to Delhi from LAX and stumbled upon this. Good layovers too. The leg from Guangzhou to DEL is on the 737, but you can have a longer stopover if you want to fly the A330 instead.

Not commenting on the fare itself, but intending pax should note that 24-hour TWOV is not currently available at CAN. Direct international transfers are available, but you cannot leave the sterile area (ie enter China). This may affect stopover plans such as hotel or sightseeing.

Seems like less than $2000 in available on China Eastern, LAX-PVG-DEL.

However, many passports are elegible for the 72-hour TWOV in Guangdong upon arrival in CAN.
