UA: ORD-CDG Direct in J $2409

ORD-CDG in J around $2400. Looks like Mon-Wed travel, including direct flights. Seem to be other options on various *A carriers as well. Dates into next Spring.
Slightly more to LHR, didn't have time to check other destinations.

Sorry, the link is bad. I'm new to this. I still see the price on Google Flights for many dates. Try, for example, 2/7/18 - 2/15/18.

Hmm, I see prices through June.

But the nonstop is a 767. Any chance it would be one of the upgraded Polaris seats?

Otherwise connect through EWR, IAD or YUL, YYZ.

On a random flight check it showed as a three class PMUA 763. No Polaris.

Blah, so 2-4-2 in J?

You could route through EWR or IAD to try to get on a better plane but I'd already be coming from SFO.

I think the 763s are 2-2-2

But the PMUA IPTE business class forward/rear facing seats.

You're right I checked seatguru. Not the worst.

However, SFO-CDG on the same dates are about $3000 in J. Separate flight between SJC or SFO to ORD would be at least $300 or more in Y.

The SFO-CDG is a 787, so probably no all aisle access but newer plane.

But I would use a cheap TATL J fare not to visit Paris this time but somewhere else. So total airfare costs would be more like $3500 if not more.

There's also the $2200 NYC-ZHR fare but again, spend about $500-600 for a transcon fare to try to line up the flights.

Try fare searches to Europe connecting in IST on TK. Been my go to for cheap ORD fares for a while. Can do ORD-BKK for $2900

Yeah I always see TK undercutting everyone on price.

Just adds at least 4-5 hours to an already long trip.

True. But you get more miles for less money. The time penalty goes down for central and eastern Europe.
