This fare works from NAS to HNL for ~$1300 with the A330 ATL-HNL/HNL-ATL nonstop both ways, if an overnight in ATL is acceptable on the outbound.

Edit: Delta seems to have now remembered that it charges a premium of the A330 ATL-HNL/HNL-ATL nonstop, so the fare with that component is $1700. However, the non-stop was available at the "regular" price for a little while.

CUN and HAV also available for a little bit more money. The trick would be to find flights with flat beds!

I know this is a mileage run sub-category (thus the practicality is secondary), but its very funny to me to think that someone would want to leave HNL to go to NAS (or CUN).

Can be had one stop on DL A330 via ATL. Problem is DL charges a surcharge for widebodies on domestic tickets. Thus it goes up to $1700 RT. Also due to timing it requires overnighting at ATL on the return. No overnight can connect to lay flat 767 via SEA/LAX. Depending on how far in future SLC goes from domestoc 767 to A330 around October.
