MCO-HKG-HGH/PVG-YYZ UA/CX: US$2389 ai / 32k+ PQM
Howdy Folks,
Was lurking around the US-China thread below (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/milea...oj-303-ai.html) and was tooling around with dates for a cheap biz class.
At first, I was trying upgrade one way, pay one way, but I found a better deal with business all the way.
Here are some examples of this fare:
https://goo.gl/flights/tMaz
https://goo.gl/flights/TjRJ
https://goo.gl/flights/YyvN
I'm an old man, so I'm good with 1 stop through Chicago (and a touch over 32,000 PQMs) in relative comfort.
Pertinent Details:
FARE RULES TEXT PERMITTED 21JUL 17 THROUGH 09DEC 17 ON THE OUTBOUND TRANSPACIFIC SECTOR. (12 DEC coming back?)
TICKETS MUST BE ISSUED ON/BEFORE 24JUL 17.
1 STOPOVER PERMITTED IN EACH DIRECTION AT USD 100.00 EACH NONE IN HONG KONG SAR/GUAM PERMITTED IN AREA 3.

Just one very minor correction. Oneworld flight is on KA (an entity owned by CX.) they have different flight code KA622 or CX5622

I noticed this too...
I'm flying ex-NYC for ~$390. Biz on the return HGH-SFO-EWR cost an additional $998, which is sort of a no brainer. Upfaring the outbound would have taken another $1,700, which is prohibitive.
I don't love paying $1,400 for a MR, but $998 for 17 hours in lie-flat C was too good to pass up...
