NYC-FRA, class P. $2065. 12/5 - 1/10.

Is this a good deal?

It is not the most inexpensive that this route has ever been, but I consider this to be a good value to fly in paid business class. Paid Business class fares to Europe from $2000, $2500 Mid West, and $3000 on the West coast represent an attractive value.

What's the cheapest you've seen business class from the east coast to Europe?

Thanks in advance for the information.

Last spring there were some $1,700ish fares. I took advantage of one to Budapest, but I think it was good for many European cities. I haven't seen those pop up since then.

$1700ish briefly popped up a couple weeks ago RDU - BCN but $2k is a good price. If it's the dates/times you want I'd probably snag it

In the past few years, the least expensive paid C fares to Europe have cost $1500-$1800, but this is usually a fare sale to a competitor's hub such as a Star fare LAX-CDG or SFO-LHR for $1800. The LH C fare for $2000 is a very good value especially considering this is a flight to LH's FRA hub.

I got on the $2000 SFO-MAN sale. The UK still counts as europe, yes? That's a good deal. I managed to swing a routing via FRA and MUC inbound and outbound with <24 hours in each.

+1 I did several r/t to Paris and Amsterdam from SJC in summer of 2014 right at $1500. Really good from the west coast USA. Appeared to be a #A attack on Delta hubs. Fares only lasted 36 hours or so. The next summer I think they (*A) were $1700 r/t briefly but not a lot of good availability from the west coast.

The UK will always be in Europe, unless someone figures out a way of physically moving it to another continent. I believe you are confused with the UK exiting the EEC.

The European Economic Community (EEC) was a regional organisation which aimed to bring about economic integration among its member states. It was created by the Treaty of Rome of 1957.[1] Upon the formation of the European Union (EU) in 1993, the EEC was incorporated and renamed as the European Community (EC). In 2009 the EC's institutions were absorbed into the EU's wider framework and the community ceased to exist.

Neither is ex-US so it's not an apples to apples comparison. Flights ex-Europe, ex-Middle East, and ex-Asia are almost always cheaper than their ex-US counterparts to those regions.

From US - Europe $2k is a great deal, every once in a while we see a quick flash sale / fare war that gets them down to $1.7-$1.9k and once in a blue moon there's an incredible super flash sale / fare ware that gets down to $1.4-1.5k

That's a good deal - esp. from JFK. Even a good deal out of YUL/YYZ which is usually a little cheaper.
