Very nice - availability is wide open throughout the year it looks like. And Lufthansa is matching in case someone needs Star Alliance instead.
Wish positioning in JNB was convenient for me, but I guess most of this forum will say the same thing.

This is not a 'fare deal' as it is a regular published fare (actually it used to be lower at like $1500-1600)

JNB-HKG is 6647, HKG-JFK is 8067. That means 66213 for a roundtrip before elite bonus
Just bear in mind I've done this before numerous times (ex-JNB Cathay to USA). You might have a higher statistical chance of getting SSSS

This might be complete insanity but if you're NY based, you could nest the ~$1400 PE (with AARP and Visa promo code) fare on BA to JNB with this for an epic run.
