OW/ST- ZRH-LAX or SFO - £1192/$1540/€1390/1540CHF (updated prices 18 May 2017)

Just spotted ZRH-LAX/SFO on AA metal for £1192/$1540/€1390/1540CHF - cheapest it has been in a long, long time! Great price out of Switzerland ^

Fare basis: INN0R4Z1

Cannot route via LON. Book by 31st May. 2 transfers in each direction, so could do something like ZRH/GVA-MAD-JFK-SFO-LAX-SFO-JFK-MAD-ZRH/GVA for 720 TPs for any BA TP runners.

ST matching also.

Not checked other destinations.

Plenty of OW routing options:

I'm sure you can do it out of Dublin for around £1400...which can be routed via LHR.

Sure, but for us actually based in Switzerland, it is an excellent price, and no positioning.

Wow, this is a pretty good price for ZRH and especially as it doesn't have promos as often as some other cities...GVA seems to have the promo as well.
I looked at the fare rules on AF/KL and strange thing there is no deadline under Category 15: Sales Restrictions. They could pull the fare at any time, but it seems like there is not the same purchase deadline of 31st May like on OW?
Also, seems like more choice of flights at the lowest fare on Matrix when you put a US sales city...replicated when I searched on klm.com which mainly gave me DL flights at the best price vs. airfrance.us which gave more AF/KL flights at the promo price.
In any case, I bought ZRH-SFO return on KL Business for about CHF 300 less back in January...that was a good promo!

Positioning doesn't look like it should be a problem when your preferred routing contains so many stops!!!

And you could get that LON stop in that you seem to want

True about positioning, its not difficult. But I would expect most people who have to position would use ex-DUB, as opposed to ex-ZRH.

No need for LON stops - I've booked 2 at this price - just plain vanilla ZRH-JFK-LAX/SFO returns! And I'm happy

You're right... Here in Switzerland we do not use GBP as currency but instead CHF... but maybe OP does not know this yet...

I sure do. In fact, I get paid in CHF so I know it well. However, using a more common currency on a board like FT helps others who may not know the FX rates to CHF of the top of their head.

This fare is now around 1400 EUR. The other thread covers it ex-GVA/ZRH
