It states "Toronto - other Chinese cities", so I would assume that any other city Air China flies to within Mainland China is included?!
I assume the intra-Canada leg to also be in business.
And yes, great fare if you can book two round-trips for CAD$ 4000 total!

I called/emailed this morning.
1. What is the booking class?
Book Z class for international sector, book A class for China domestic sector, and book K/A/L/T/S/G/W/V/Q class from YTO to YUL v.v. on AC interline ONLY.
2. Any restrictions on cancellation and changes?
NO SHOW: Penalty of C$300 applies for no show.
CHANGES: Free for same class/sector with minimum 24 hrs. notice prior to departure.
REFUND: Prohibited.
3. Any blackout dates?
Black Out Period: 10DEC2017--24DEC2017
4. Can I fly to HKG/MFM?
No.
5.What is the earliest date of departure?
04MAY2017-31AUG2017
6.Is tax included in the 2000CAD fare?
No (Per my call with them, ~4-500CAD)
7.How can I book the ticket?
Go to travel agency.
8.Earliest date that I can fly?
One week after you order the ticket.

Too bad it does not work out for me as travelling from SZX to HKG is a bit of a hassle with luggages. Thus, I would say it is only on par with AA/UA/DL $2600CAD YTO-PEK/PVG when you consider in the not-as-desirable B/E diamond seats.
