I couldn't get the 77W on the way out but on the way back. Were you able to find dates to work on the outbound legs?

Did a similar run last year. Had to clear customs/immigration, go outside, then enter the airport again. As long as you don't arrive at a bad time and have no checked bags, i think 2 hrs is plenty of time.

I recall similar; can't remember if there is a way to "transit" or not. But there is definitely no Mexico departure immigration when you leave. They don't stamp you out of the country. It was fairly simple even without a transit.

I did this run twice earlier this year... actually routed it SEA-SFO-MIA-CUN-JFK-LAX-SEA for added mileage

Both times, arrived on a Saturday morning (around 10am) - was able to clear immigration + security both times in ~45 minutes (no bags; note there is no premium security!). The lounge was crowded but actually quite nice (for PP standards).

A 2-hours turn is definitely doable, but 1-hour is cutting it pretty close IMO.

If you have any questions, just ask!

Yeah 1 hr is really tight. I don't think you'd make it unless you get super lucky.

Looks to be gone. I should not have dawdled, had a couple great long runs put together but was waiting on time off requests to come through for my companion. Le sigh.

Can do something like SEA-MIA-CUN(4hrs)-JFK-SEA for $502. That's only 4000 some award miles it looks like. Would this make sense to try and get a special fare on?
However EQM is still miles flown, so can help with status.

I could not find those fares for any dates...would prefer no overnites.
Fare gone? I can fly from Seattle any day but as mentioned prefer the 2 hour
layover in CUN.
