Nothing special.

BA154 LHR AA57 MIA AA275 LAX AA /f bc=i
AA LAX AA1088 MIA AA56 LHR BA155 /f bc=i

you can customize it to your liking. Stop in New York for a couple of days before flying to LAX or so.

You you can stop in London for the Helsinki tier point run for BA Gold

There's only 140TP now on this route - no option of 210 anymore

I thought with the new rules the LAX-HNL segment books into a business class fare for BAEC and you will earn 140 tier points instead of 210. That will make the total tier points earnings for this trip 1120.

i 've been trying for the life of me to book this but with a S/O in SEA, LAX, or DFW but i cant find any OTA that would price out what ITA would give me.

has anyone booked this with a stopover?

I had no issues pricing it with stopovers on AA.com. I booked via BA as I wanted to use an upgrade so I'm on the BA fare with BA TATL, and a stopover in LAX no problem.

What details would you like? I booked:

Outbound:
CAI-LHR (BA B789 but 3-class), LHR-MIA (BA A380, GUF1 to F with Joker)
24 Hours in Miami
MIA-LAX (AA B77W)
Overnight LAX
LAX-HNL (AA A321)

2 days in Hawaii

HNL-LAX (AA A321)

7 day stopover LA

LAX-SJC (AA E175), SJC-LHR (BA B789 GUF1 to F with Joker)
LHR-CAI (BA B788)

Lots of options for coming back via the east coast too but I don't need the extra TPs really and prefer the longer flight in F and on the B789 from the west coast. Price was slightly varying depending on which connecting airports chosen.

Paid ~$1630 (€1524). Booked by finding the itinerary I wanted on the matrix and e-mailing it to GGL who sent a PNR back in about an hour, then phoning to GUF and pay.

Sorry, fairly new to this (obviously):

>>Outbound:
>>CAI-LHR (BA B789 but 3-class), LHR-MIA (BA A380, GUF1 to F with Joker)
What is meant with GUF1??

>>Paid ~$1630 (€1524). Booked by finding the itinerary I wanted on the matrix and e->>mailing it to GGL who sent a PNR back in about an hour, then phoning to GUF and pay.
What means " mailing to GGL" and what is GUF?

Many thanks in advance,
Peter

GUF1 means Gold-Upgrade-For-1, it's an upgrade voucher for BA Frequent Flyers.

GGL means Gold Guest List, and is a type of BA frequent flyer status. The itinerary I booked cannot be booked online, it is too complicated for ba.com, so it needs to be booked by BA directly. Most people have to phone BA and read out all the segments and try and get the agent at the call center to price it up correctly. I emailed the itinerary I wanted to the team that deal with GGL members and they e-mailed me back with a PNR.
