Just published on MH website,

If only it was SYD to LHR for that price.

You can get LHR-SYD on MH for £1500-ish. More information: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/premi...0-1500-mh.html
Also available sometimes on VN or QR for around £1700. |
I couldn't get this fare to work any which way I searched... :(

Currently deciding between QR CDG-PER or MH LHR-PER. Thinking hard product might be slightly better on QR? Price is only £200 difference which will be swallowed up by positioning etc, so much of a muchness, boiling down to best onboard product. Thoughts welcome!

Worth remembering that you'll have 2-2-2 seating at some point on both of those itineraries (MH A380 LHR - KUL, and QR 777 DOH-PER) so that's not a differentiating factor |
The 2000 pound mark seems pretty standard for EU-SYD. You can do OSL-SYD for that amount on SQ for instance (including their A350 and A380). Also works from ARN or GOT.

SQ looks great. We are xxx-PER, think we'll do QR as the 2-2-2 works for us travelling as a couple. Ex-France we are £1800 with plenty of avios positioning flights.
