Pretty amazing. Also on LX with better conditions: Unlimited transfers, unlimited stopovers. no HIP.
LH: no stopovers. 3 transfers (2 in EU)

Both have 6 day min, 3 month max.

PERMITTED 20JAN 17 THROUGH 31MAY 17 ON THE OUTBOUND
TRANSATLANTIC SECTOR.

Possibly 'cheap' because there's no daft fuel surcharges for tickets ex Brazil.

TATL seems to be operated by Edelweiss Air. Do they offer a real J product, similar to LX themselves, or is it a pre 2000 type J class?

There is a similar BA fare in the market - Only for April and May, apparently. And the routing is not very exciting, but something like GIG-Paris/Berlin-GIG can price at around US$1680. I didn't try a London stopover - the rules say that one stopover is free, but I didn't experiment with HIP. One nice thing about it for Aadvantage flyers is that the BA "I" fare code earns 25% EQD, so this is a nice EQD bonus for qualifying next year.

It is available starting in January until May but not all dates, and it probably has a 7 day minimum.

Stopover in London indeed works.

It also works to ZRH, FCO, FRA, and LIS as well for $1680 with an LHR stopover.

Nice! I looked at EF this morning, and the effective dates are now showing Jan 16-May 31. Yesterday, it was showing April and May, so they are opening this up. Also seems to be available (according to EF) Nov 1 - Dec 15 this year.

Yes, 7 day min and 1 month max, so not the most effective for some of us here, but with the stopover and open jaw potential, it might be good to combine a short visit in several cities and meet the 7-day minimum.
