AA: HKG-SFO/ORD/HOU/EWR/FAT $2,000 r/t in J

Looks like a price war. If I'm not mistaken AA and DL matched a few weeks ago for ~$2,400, now AA dropped even further. Routing through ICN/NRT on CX/JL is possible, but TPAC has to be on AA.

One thing that AA doesn't do as well is ticket flexibility, or else I would've jumped for it

AA: HKG-FAT r/t, ~$2056 in A/I, 30988 EQM

Priced for mid-Nov, but others appear to be available. Could make a nice nested run.

Nice find. I have to admit I didn't know which airport FAT was (Fresno, Ca). Connecting flights to FAT may be a bit expensive. mid-November, it was $500 for United direct flights from SFO for instance.

I'm thrilled about this, as the RT fare is less than 1-way economy a couple days ago.

Unless you're after extra miles, I'd probably go for the AA metal ex-HKG. I've seen via LAX and DFW (to ORD) on the 77W which is the best J seat in the fleet. The reports on the 787 seats turn me off.

Regardless, nice fare.

SFO to fat is only about a 3 hour drive you'd be better off doing a mini road trip

Roundtrips in Business completed before Dec 10 are eligible for an 8,000 mile bonus. Mine spans Nov-Jan, so it doesn't appear that I'll be eligible. Registration required: https://www.aa.com/i18n/aadvantage-p...miles-asia.jsp Perhaps if I nest another one-way segment before Dec 10, I can get it. Doubt I can mismatch the classes of service though.

Actually you would be much better off just not going to Fresno.

Cool Premium mileage run

Thanks to Flyertalk I just booked a 15 day mileage run as follows:

11/28 HKG-EWR Busness Class $2047 37,948 EQM's
12/2 EWR-HKG
TURNAROUND IN HKG FROM FLIGHT AA 125 to AA 192 I think this is the same plane?
12/2 HKG-IAH Business Class $2047 34,504 EQM's
12/4 IAH-HKG

12/6 HKG-SFO Business Class $1918 30,988 EQM's
12/10 SFO-HKG

Nested
12/6 SFO-PBI Economy Class $302 5,561 EQM's
12/10 MIA-SFO Hopefully using acquired 500 mile upgrades to First

109,001 EQM's for $6374

Sorry I did not do the mileage as this itinerary took a long time. Started this year a lifetime Gold had nothing so far this year and very close to lifetime Platinum so I took the plunge now only 65,000 EQM's to my goal. I will get 4 SWU's after completion to use next year and once I hit 2 Million miles I will get 4 more.
I hope this helps someone and I apologize if I was not thorough enough.
