Now pricing at $1798 for my dates in February .... wish I could have pulled the trigger when I first saw the fare this am.

~$1800 still sounds not bad to me, especially if you consider the fact that you can fly ANA transpacific

True, still pretty good. Thanks for posting it! For me, using it as a 1 way makes it not worth it.

I can still pull up the 13,943 HKD price on ctrip, but after enterring contact details it reprices at something like 29,000.

So even the $1,800 price is dead?? I checked several dates, but not all of them.

Looks like US$2000 is the lowest now.

For ST flyers MU has HKG-SFO for US$1787 in business.

It seems like the ~$1800 fare is also gone. However, there are still some other decent options:

1. Ctrip is now pricing the AA nonstop from HKG to LAX at ~$2400 R/T ai. Sample dates: 02/07/2017 - 02/15/2017

2. Also, if you try certain dates in Octorber/November, MU is offering ~$2200 HKG-PVG-LAX R/T, and ~$1500 HKG-PVG-SFO R/T. MU fare to LAX bookable through all OTAs, and MU fare to SFO bookable through expedia.com.hk, which is priced at HKD 11586, while Orbitiz, Cheapoair, etc. is pricing at ~$1800.

Great find, seems available well into 2017. Thought about the AA best fare guarantee but doesn't apply since not a US POS. About half the price that aa.com is offering

I am also finding ICN - NYC as low as $1621. I am not sure if this warranted its own thread or not.

Various dates where you could fly to the US around Thanksgiving and fly home around Christmas. Sample date below. I found using google flights. Books into P 16,458 PQM each way.
