[PREM FARE GONE] YVR-Italy/France ST/OW/*A US$1500-1800 (some companion fares)

I spotted some potentially good business class fares in the GDS this morning but cannot get any of them to actually book, so I am not positive on taxes and total price. But they look good, with base fares around $1k. I do not see anything in the fare rules that would impact the dates I am aiming for (June 2017), in fact the fares should be wide open based on the rules.

KL ZB7CCA YVR to MAD US$1069 ++ (KL fares on this route seem to have about US$470 in taxes in fees on this route)
INN7M3T3 YVR-MAD US $1069++ (AA fares seem to have $600-700 in taxes and fees on this route)
AA INN7M3T3 YVR-NCE US $1069 ++ (AA fares seem to have $600-700 in taxes and fees on this route)

These things (or at least some of them...) have 75% fares for kids so are pretty much getting in the range of what I like to see... I have 3 of them and my wife and I, so the KL fare should price around US$1550 for adults and $1160 for kids. Can anyone get these to book??!! What am I missing?

I'm not sure but I think you are looking at the price of one way. So you would have to pay double that for r/t. ZB7CCA prices ~2,700usd on ITA

No these are RT fare. BTW, I got DL to price out at least the DL fares. Shame is DL is one of the only carriers that doesnt have a 75% fare. Will try the KL site next. I think I may have stumbled on these as they are loading...

Price for DL fare all in is US$1738

The AA YVR-NCE fare is bookable on AA.com $1770 for adult, and the fare has 75% fare for child but aa.com isnt pricing that out properly. Really odd behavoir, GDS says they were filed yesterday or day before, but they don't all appear to be live yet.

Edit- I finally got AA.com to work for this... although higher taxes than I was expecting, meanting $1900 per adult and $1600 per child.

Damn, should have grabbed these... The ST ones are all now refiled at 2x the price. AA YVR-NCE is still pricing though.

Edited to add: So it looks like DL/ST must have fatfingered 1/2 fare for RT and then corrected the mistake (although as best I can tell only DL started selling at that price before the fares were corrected around 12pm PST). I'm guessing AA lobbed some counterattacks at ST, because YVR-France/Italy still has a bunch of OneWorld fares for $950 base RT coming out to roughly $1760 all in. Good fare, considering it appears to be an "inadvertent" fare war....

None of these seem to show up in ITA or on Google flights. I found them by looking directly at airline websites but then this afternoon and noticed that kayak seems to pull up links to them as well

Once you get flights pulled up on the American website you can shift from one day to the other and you will see the fair is available every single day

Wow ketchm thanks for the link to that site. I just found US$6600 for 2 adults and 3 children for late June outbound and early July return (OJ NCE/VCE as well). Was hoping to get into BCN, MAD or PMI, but I think at this price I might have to bite. I think the OJ might be returning lower prices because Italy is cheaper base fare.

Don't forget Silcily, Sardinia and Naples (Positano), these are some great fares for July 4 holiday vacations in Europe!

Really glad I kept at it, when I first found the fares, I think they were not yet loaded into the airline or OTA sites. Never had that happen before. And as I said, this was clearly a misfire by AA reacting to DL, so wont be around long.

Yeah, I saw several fares from $1500 CA, which got me all excited, then they wouldn't actually load. Too bad I couldn't use the BA visa 10% offer, since it's flying out of YVR.

GoTravel123 seems to be giving about $60 off per adult and $45 off per child, so I got down to $1460 (adult) and $1250 (child) with them, US dollars. I got the discount on a link through Momondo.

Having a tough time finding these fares as well. Found the right fare codes at the $861 USD price for travel this winter and confirmed availability in the right fare buckets but no OTA is pricing it at the lower base fare. I'm just going to wait and keep an eye on Google Flights/ITA/AA until the fares slowly trickle into the systems.

I would try momondo.com, never used it before but just used it to get YVR-LHR-TLS (then to Mallorca for a week)/FCO-LHR-YVR for a 2 week summer vacation. It linked me to Gotravel123.net and as I said gave about $50 off each ticket. I paid $60 for their 24 hour cancellation protection to see what happens. US$6834 for 2 adults and 3 children.

BTW- I couldnt get this pricing to work on either AA.com or BA.com, crazy...
