PS: IST-JFK in J £461 return

Lots of dates through the autumn (e.g. 24/10 - 4/11). Books into Z which probably doesn't get you anything useful status-wise, but does earn 120% award miles on KLM Flying Blue.

Probably a mistake fare. Not on any blogs yet, but let's see how long that lasts!

Thank you for posting. Has to be booked by today according to fare rules.

Kinda do not want to fly PS though and don't want to be SSSSelected again...

Also seems to work from HEL for around £650.

Now that I'm going to be a free agent (thanks AAdvantage!) these kind of deals will become more interesting to me, although getting to and from IST is a bit of a faff. Would I be right in thinking you're more likely to get a 4S leaving JFK on PS than other carriers?

No, this is their official 50% off sale that ends today (June 10), for travel between Oct 3 and Dec 15. Note, however, that long haul J in PS is worse than a typical PE elsewhere. One would be getting an uncomfortable recliner seat, without any IFE.

PS is probably not the widest known IATA code, so for those not obsessed with techno-jargon...

PS=Ukraine International Airlines

and for those who appreciate techno-babble one-upmanship, the ICAO code is UAI

Flew one of their 767's last month. Seats are NOWHERE NEAR full flat. These are very old recliners. Good for a 3 hr flight that I took, but not KBP-JFK.
