Dry indeed. Fare is cheap but my (own) mental Maths puts Saudi at par with Budget airlines.

Yes, dry.

Has anyone had recent experience of flying SV? I'd be flying solo female. Reviews are hard to come by, and this route is quite tempting.

Perfectly acceptable airline with some caveats. One being the visum requirements. If you have a delay and therefore need to leave the airport because you missed your connection, it can become very annoying.

They have several very cheap routes and not having alcohol may not be a problem for everyone. Here is a fairly recent review.

They also have a very good safety rating, so no idea what the previous poster is on about, but I can guess.

Not as nice as CDG - CGK for 1100EUR.
That one has the 787 for CDG-JED whose hard product is much improved.

Flown a couple of times.
They checked my hand luggage upon entrance of the plane for alcohol. Service and food was good. Had the pleasure to travel with 20 people which means empty plane.
Route was ADD to DXB with stop over.

If you fly business you don't need to worry about visa or hotel as they will manage it for you.

Comfort depends on the aircraft they use. You can check on their website.

I was doing dates in April (close in) till June. Apologies; it's comparatively pricier for Winter.

Maybe the fact that they are rated 84 in the list of top 100 Airlines for 2015 may influence some people?

Ranked below Air Asia, Aeroflot and Azerbaijan Airlines, not for me thank you.

Does a fare have to be new on the market to be posted here? I am grateful for any great deal to be brought to my attention even if it has been around for a while. So thank you OP!
And yes, Saudia is dry but that wouldn't put me off if the price is right.
