Will you have time to see us all in Chaing Mai? I guess from your short stay you are doing a mileage run?

I noticed EY404 on the AUH-BKK sector is on ETIHAD ON JET AIRWAYS CONFIGURED AIRCRAFT. Do you still get EY Chauffeur in BKK?

Too bad EY is not in any alliance.

If I'm not wrong, you can earn status miles on AZ MilleMiglia program

I confirm you 130% AZ status miles if you fly on EY Z booking class.

AFAIK chauffeur service is no more available on Z booking class.

You're right.

I see it's a Z fare so earns 130% on AZ. Just have to choose the EY operated ones.

This is $250 more than QR's current promotional fare on this route, and having done both, QR offers a better J production (especially if you get the A380 to BKK) IMO. YMMV.

Edit: missed that OP's post had the price quoted in CAD. Then both fares are equal but I'd still go for QR.

Just realized I made a mistake in the original post, my outbound date is January 13th not 23rd lol

I believe you can credit EY Z fare miles as follows:

AB 115%, AZ 130%, NH 125%, OZ 150%, OK 130%, EY 115%, GA 130%, 9W 130%, KE 115%, SK 115%, SA 130%, VA 130%

Z does include chaffeur, it's clearly stated on the booking page.
I did indeed prefer to take QR to BKK, but i bought EY to IAD, unaware that Z class earns zero in AA. Ridiculuos.

Seems that some Z fare customers are being excluded according to this thread. Seems to be a big discussion.
