PHL-AMS in J - $2100 - BA/US/AA/UA/LH/DL

Just found J tickets for ~$2100 AI out of PHL to AMS for July. Per Google, many options from July-Oct look open at that price. Booking with BA you can use both AARP and Chase discounts.

Looks like some other cities on sale near the same price - BRU,CPH, etc..

I'm flying out Jul 29 - Aug 3, and got $1551 AI RT on BA via LHR.

AMS / BRU wide open from DFW @ $1,850 on most *A.

I chose AC as their P gives 200% Award miles.

Makes this ~15k PQM (12 cpm) & 20k RDM if PQD isn't a big deal...

Even possible for an immediate turn:

07AUG DFW-YYZ AC7486
07AUG YYZ-YUL AC420
07AUG YUL-BRU AC832

08AUG BRU-YUL AC833
09AUG YUL-YYZ AC481
09AUG YYZ-DFW AC7483

Apparently, the fare was filed at least a week ago:

PERMITTED 20MAY 15 THROUGH 31OCT 15 ON THE OUTBOUND TRANSATLANTIC SECTOR.

Saturday night required:

TRAVEL FROM LAST STOPOVER MUST COMMENCE NO EARLIER THAN THE FIRST SUN AFTER ARRIVAL AT TURNAROUND.

I plugged in a DFW-BRU calendar on Google, and despite the apparent language that the fares run through 10/31, the last $1,850 fare is at the very end of the traditional summer season (9/3, the day before Labor Day weekend starts). Also, from DFW it apparently only applies to Star Alliance carriers, despite DFW being an AA hub and IAH being the second-biggest UA hub in the country.

Bizarrely, replacing DFW with any other Texas airport increases the price substantially, and from IAH the price doubles!

great fare, however, strict advanced purchase rules make it more difficult for some of us
RESERVATIONS FOR ALL SECTORS ARE REQUIRED AT LEAST 28 DAYS
BEFORE DEPARTURE.
TICKETING MUST BE COMPLETED WITHIN 3 DAYS AFTER
RESERVATIONS ARE MADE OR AT LEAST 28 DAYS BEFORE DEPARTURE
WHICHEVER IS EARLIER.
