Wow. According to the ITA Matrix calendar, that fare ($2437.10) is available every single day from Oct through Feb; I didn't check any further. Length of stay does not appear to matter. Booking code I.

not surprisingly, Delta Air Lines has the same fare out of DFW to HKG in J. The kicker is, you have to double connect to get that fare. The long haul TPAC flight is out of SEA. Looks like AA is matching Delta once again...DL is up to something...

Seeing ~$2,400 from DTW, ORD, CLT, and $3K from JFK. Unfortunately $3,500 from YYZ where I actually need it

Is this route in trouble? It has been on sale very frequently lately.

Maybe just lots of competition? Flew in Y as a MR a few weeks ago and the plane was packed both directions. Only 3 or 4 open seats in the back.
It's great when a route is very competitive, keeps the prices low for us FTers.

Approx $2452 from MSP and the 787 is available if routing thru ORD and NRT.

A full plane at cheaper fares especially in the premium cabin may doom this route. From my recollection the prices for business class travel to HKG have not so often been this low in the past.

Saw this fare yesterday departing out of PHL. It's also good to NRT (or at least a very comparable fare is). Works nicely with 2x points promo for I fare.

Was able to book for a flight a week out so doubt there's advance purchase

Well, straw poll of my side of the mini cabin in J on one of my DFW-HKG flights indicated one person on a saver award, one person on a miles+copay upgrade, and one person on an SWU (me).

How many EQP would this yield by the way in light of the recent promo? Not near a computer (on my phone), so am curious.

32,400 EQP for a RT DFW-HKG direct flight (8,100 miles each way).

Compared to last summer, when my whole side of MCE was upgrades that didn't clear...
