AM YVR-Central/South America $1000-$1850CDN
Aeromexico starts service from Vancouver Dec. 9
The have some good business class fares to central and South America.
Brazil & Argentina $1850CDN including taxes. Widebody from MEX.
Central America $1000-$1300 depending on destination. Narrowbody. Up to two 6 hour segments in each direction depending on destination.
Some long connections in MEX.
I see AA fares YVR-Central America have come down closer to UA's level. And in some cases cheaper than UA.

It actually works in reverse too and turned out to be cheaper.
I was pricing for YVR-EZE and was quoted high 1500USD.
And I looked up the other way around, It was U$141x. Ended up booking for folks to come over for x'mas. The possible dealbreaker though is the 10+hr layover in MEX. But oh well, hopefully the lounge is good enough.

They had some good prices to MDE for a while when the route was first for sale, but the flight times for that particular route were garbage.
If they have a great sale to MEX at some point I'll jump on one, always like to try new airlines and I like that it's an overnight as opposed to the AC flight which arrives in MEX pretty late.
