Has anyone ever had any issues at customs? I'll basically be reboarding the same aircraft I came in on 2 hours before.....

thanks!
At AMS you don't even have to go through immigration. You just stay at the gate. Or have a coffee at the airport Starbucks.

Not on united but on taca. I booked LIM-UIO-LIM for a prearranged meeting in the lounge. In LIM they refused to give me the boarding pass for the return. At UIO the airline staff started.to ask me about my trip, I was very clear with them, they sold me the ticket and I do not want any further discussion. They accepted this and pleasently issued my boarding pass and an invitation to the lounge.

Wasn't a problem even when I used the 4 hour turn to go into Geneva for breakfast.

Europe and Asia never an issue. Canada... That's a different story!

Ain't that the truth recently. I frequently have to visit for a day or 2 on business. The last 2 times I've had the hardest time convincing them to let me in even though saying I'm there for "business meetings". They know I have a return ticket. I've left on schedule 10+ times in the past. Seems strange to make it as difficult as it has been recently...

I've done MRs to GVA, YVR, TYO and HKG all from HNL. Global Entry is wonderous.

Not a problem to Europe and Asia though the agents in Seoul are always perplexed by my 1 hour visits.

But even with GE i oftentimes get asked why I do not have a suitcase when handing in my Global Entry printout. Have brought an empty one once but thought that would look even worse so now I just say I went for miles.

Just make sure to get the BP when you are leaving IAH, once you get there just stay at the gate or go shopping around.

Wondering exactly the same thing. Doing the well advertised MR LAX-BAH in November with a two hour turn and wondering if there are any issues I should be aware of. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Why are you worried, are you afraid they will refuse entry and you have to fly home?
