National Israel (IL) /Destination Russian Fed. (RU) Passport required. - Passport and/or passport replacing documents must be valid on arrival. Visa required, except for A max. stay of 90 days: - for holders of normal passports issued to nationals of Israel; Additional Information: (...) - Visitors are strongly recommended to hold a health/travel insurance to cover for any medical expenses. While I've never heard about foreigners being asked for a proof of insurance at the Russian immigration control in SVO, I would still strongly recommend you to buy a short term coverage online. I'm new to this forum, so I'm not sure if posting links here is allowed, but if you google 'HCCMIS', you'll definitely find a company I always use for short term travel coverage. It will cost you only a couple of dollars and you'll get a proof of insurance online right away. Mind that decent medical services might be quite costly in Russia, so having an insurance coverage in such a case might be a great relief. |
cloaed at OP's request.
