It would be great to see a critical mass developing against all this, a tipping point, etc. although it's a little depressing that the machines are already in place in a number of airports and there hasn't been a wholesale backlash.

Welcome to FT PaladinErrant. ^

Thanks for the welcome guys.

Hope I'm not rambling too much... just been simmering inside for a while now and this is the first good outlet I've found haha. I don't usually stay on the soapbox for very long.

Great input and ideas in these threads and this forum. I have a good feeling that the backlash and storm will build quick in response to this nonsense and things will change within a few weeks/months.

The story line is DEN. I can tell you right now that this did not happen. There are over 40 cameras on the checkpoints and I posted on Inforwars that the alleged victim needs to contact the PR specialist at DEN and start an investigation. I am betting that she wont do it. This is her 15 minutes of fame.

And how many are actually recording? Is the video always available for playback?

I am agnostic on whether this incident happened or not, but considering how often cameras "malfunction" whenever a government agent is accused of misconduct, if no video evidence of this incident exists it would prove nothing.

OK you say it didn't happen and the lady says it happened to her.

The evidence.

We know that TSA has stepped up the pat downs and that they are more aggressive. We know that the "Enhanced Pat Down" was tested at some airports. We have videos from TSA that certainly makes it look like TSA is getting close or directly on the genitals during the pat downs. There have been several reports in the media from various sources saying the new pat down is quiet invasive.

On the other side of the argument we have your statement saying it didn't happen. Nothing more.

I don't think the resident TSA clerk was disputing the fact that the prison gropes are occurring. The issue is did a male clerk feel up a woman.

eyecue said this: "The story line is DEN. I can tell you right now that this did not happen."

"This did not happen" means to me that none of what the person described happened.

I generally find that when I ask to see video of an incident involving me, wagons begin to circle and within no time I am told either the camera was not running or there was a malfunction of some sort.

Here's a thought...

Why doesn't the TSA just produce the video showing she is lying?

This is a terrible story. There is absolutely no way I will subject my little ones to such molestation! BTW, do law enforcement agents even have the authority to feel one's private parts when doing a body search? I am totally shocked to hear that they are now allowed to "pad down" the private parts. Shouldn't that be illegal??

When listening to this broadcast, the first thing that came to mind was why did this woman not ask to be "patted down" by a female inspector?

After listening to the broadcast, I thought that when I am ever in a similiar situation (I have already made up my mind to opt out and to request a female inspector as I am a female) I will ask the inspector if she is a lesbian because I do not want someone to experience sexual gratification by patting me down.

good grief

The story line is DEN. I can tell you right now that this did not happen...This is her 15 minutes of fame.
THIS is why so many people (myself included) loathe the TSA. This remark (above) is dismissive, flippant, irreverent, disrespectful and does nothing but inflame and incite.

Further, speaking as a writer (20 years experience), "Eyecue's" writing style is vague and unclear. I can't tell if he's discounting the details in the woman's story or the woman's story as a whole.

Speaking as a frequent flier, I can tell you that in 2004, I got pulled aside by TSA for additional screening and was taken into a private area and was thoroughly frisked by a male agent. I was horrified at him feeling up my inner thighs (and took his time doing so), and my buttocks and the small of my back and even my breasts.

From 2002 - 2004, I was in airports all the time and I was constantly getting pulled aside for extra screening. (It's the lily-white skin and light blue eyes that did it, I'm sure...)

By 2004, I was sufficiently mentally beaten down by the TSA and their antics that I didn't even question it when a male TSA felt me up and patted me down.

My point is, I don't question this woman's story because I *know* that the TSA sometimes uses men to frisk women.

Alex Jones has produced so much BS over the YEARS, he is considered a joke. At 3:35 of the film clip he stated that he watched male TSOs touching 3 year old girls. Those are his words. He said nothing? He did nothing? This individual is a big ball buster and yet he did nothing? How many of you have ever seen a male TSO touch a female pax at all. It doesnt happen. Female pax can wait 10-15 minutes until a female TSO is available for that patdown.
