Now if only other pilots, at other carriers in ever increasing numbers would do the same thing^

I agree that there should be no special exceptions for anyone...take the nude-o-scopes and the genital molestations away for EVERYONE.

That being said....IF this would catch on with pilots at different carriers, it would at least give some press to what these machines do.

Do you know if the 777 FO is going public with this as you have?

Maybe someone should point out that if the general public gets sick enough of TSA's crap, they'll stop flying. Which will then cost the jobs of many of APA's members.

Just suppose...

...there was a mass wildcat strike by the pilots and flight attendents over this issue. That would force the issue in a way one person could not.

We can only dream, but then all TSA would do is exempt pilots/flight attendants while the rest of the flying public would still have to put up with the pornomachines and genital gropes

All that being said, if something like what you have said were to occur it would probably bring about some much needed press about what these machines actually do and the safety concerns they pose contrary to the bull**it TSA puts forth about how safe they are

Yeah, I'm doing all I can to help her get the word out. I think she's getting the legal ducks in a row first though. I don't think it'll be too much longer till you hear something on the wires.

That seems to me a very good idea. I look forward to reading the story.

And good luck with your own legal ducks, SpatialD.

Me too, actually. Not sure why it's taking so long, but I assure you it's no BS.

Are you really, literally, on pins and needles? If so, why? And why pins and needles, intstead of one or the other?

After the reception you must have gotten from your employer or the one you anticipate getting, I do not blame her at all. Get everything, at least as much as possible on her side from a legal standing.

I say again, more power to her (if and when she goes public) and to you and any other crew members who bring to light what these machines actually do and the genital groping that is being done "in the name of security"
