Interesting concept, have to give it further thought.

Indeed there's some cheap places to fly to, namely LAS and MCO.
But have to balance it between making a statement and not holding others up.

Could maybe pick a day, like those organized dances on youtube.
For me, LAS would be a short day trip.
Go thru security, with no issue if mag detector.
If selected for AIT, decline.

For seconday, great if other would be filming if anything out of the ordinary.
I'd be wearing a "cup" just because there's nothing against it.

Make it thru, wait a bit, have some coffee, go back out, reprint a new boarding pass, and go back thru.
Repeat until your actual flight.

The point is to up their stats on the people refusing to go thru the AIT's.

In the interim, can we get FT t-shirts made up with "I OPT OUT" on the front in big block letters?

Round plastic badge in business-like colours should do the trick.

Wirelessly posted (iPad : Mozilla/5.0 (iPad; U; CPU OS 3_2_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/531.21.10 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.4 Mobile/7B405 Safari/531.21.10)

I can help setup a simple website to collaborate our information on if wanted or needed. Also can easily setup a mailing list for this cause if wanted (work for a web host, would cost me nothing).

Also, count me in for Denver.

Should the emphasis be on "opting out" rather than focusing on the use of WBI for secondary screening only, with the ability to "opt out" for a pat down.

Hmmm....

Can someone come up with something incorporating "Mr. McFeely" and "Mr. McSleazy" in it?

And on the back, a list of the reasons why, so those in line behind you can read while in line...

I thought about that, but I suspect that the amount of content on the shirt would relate directly to the 'strength' of the opt-out patdown/secondary. The FT logo and "I OPT OUT" will likely get a chuckle out of a TSO, where a litany of anti-WBI information (however appropriate it may be) could generate retaliation.

How about using the phrase, "Strip and Grip" to describe what TSA is doing?

Or "Nude and rude"?

Or "Don't be a star in TSA's airport porno films"?

TSA wouldn't retaliate. That would be unprofessional!

I like that photo!

Seriously, should we get shirts made? I know a local company that we could get them made from, if we actually wanted some..
