The NoS website is now up and running! For those of you not familiar with it, please visit www.nudeoscope.com
I've put up copies of the NoS brochure, and will be working on it more this weekend, making it more user friendly. I'll also be adding links to EPIC, FT, etc... In the mean time, if you have any suggestions for text, please don't hesitate to let me know. We'd love the feedback!
Thanks,
FriendlySkies

Very helpful comments.
Wimpie: Thank you for the choice quotes. The dose averaging explanation may be a bit complex.
FlyingUnderTheRadar: The opt out section is to inform the reader that they can choose between two alternatives if they wish to fly. Earlier, it was suggested that health risks would be more persuasive. Your revisions have been incorporated.
doober: Point incorporated.
Wally Bird: The posture images is a historic reference. Several, now famous, people once had their pictures (now mostly destroyed) taken for "science". Good suggestion for the warning.
IslandBased: See one of the alternative versions.
MrMan: See interior pane.
Please save a copy of the files and point out any typos, however minor. To avoid confusion, old links may be removed.

I suggest including a revision number somewhere (one that's inconspicuous, but visible when folded) and incrementing it when you publish an updated document. That will make it easier to look at a printed one and determine if it's the older or newer version.

I'm sure there are plenty more articles out there to be found and posted.
Also - what about having the share/like buttons for Facebook and Twitter? I'm not exactly sure how one goes about putting those on a website, but it would be a quick and easy way for the word to get out. I put the Boston Herald link on my FB page the other day and had quite a few comments and a few people shared the link on their own pages. Anything to get people talking!
Great job on both the wesbite and the flyers to all those who dedicated their time and effort. I really hope everyone's diligence pays off soon and gets the general public to open their eyes to this complete and utter nonsense.

Should I perhaps reorganize the re-directs? What URL would people like to end up seeing? "nudeoscope" or "nude-o-scope"?
.com or .org or .net?

Brilliant! Now let's go international!
This has been an outstanding effort by all involved, and special thanks to newhaven! (To whom I also wish a very heartfelt welcome to FlyerTalk!!)
I'll be sending the links to RadioBro in Maryland and RadioCousin in CA.
But I'm also inspired to make a modified version with the words "If you're traveling to the USA" on the cover (and probably similar small mods inside) that I can leave at int'l terminals in non-US airports. I can cover a few Australian, Japanese and Italian airports* in the next few months, probably leaving them where US-bound people might find them: restrooms, lounges, etc.
Anyone in the UK willing to do a UK version? It will need a new tack, since opting out is not the solution there.
* If I get arrested for distributing dirty pictures, I don't think the defense of "TSA does it" is going to help me in these countries. Hope you guys will.

I just sent the brochure off to my entire e-mail list and when I get back to work after the long weekend, I'll photocopy it for distribution.
With my e-mail I included a link to this site that speaks to traffic deaths in the US. Hopefully, readers will look at this and then think about how the money being wasted at TSA could be better spent in infrastructure repair.

The URL should have "WBI" or "body-scanner" somewhere in it. Probably too late now.

Just my opinion, but I don't like "nudeoscope" at all. It may be a cute catch phrase for a few FTers, but it will mean nothing to the intended audience - the flying public. It also will not generate search engine hits.

I can contribute to the cost of domains. We'll have to think of something that isn't already registered. What do you think of 'bodyscannerinfo.com/org/net/info/us' or 'airportbodyscannerinfo.com/net/org/info/us'?
I can pony up the registration fees for at least some of those.

OK... here's my offer then. I will put down 100$ right now to register domains, and will gladly Paypal it to anyone who wants to do the domain registrations.

A suggestion from one of the people to whom I sent the brochure:

What will your or your child's image look like?
