Is duct tape a no-no?

Is duct tape a no-no?
Last week the business card holder on the back of my suitcase got torn in flight. In hopes of keeping it from totally ripping off, I put duct tape on it before this morning's flight. When I got to my destination the duct tape had been removed. Wondering if it was the TSA??

I would guess that it got snagged by something on a conveyor belt, or somewhere along the bags journey..
