AeroMexico club premier points

I am a little confused about the way Aeromexico club premier credit points from SkyTeam partner flights.
For example, on Delta, V class tickets earn 50% mile credit on Club Premier points, which is based on Kilometers. So, if the Delta flight is 8000 miles, it will convert to 12874 Kilometers. 50% of that is 6437 Kilometers, so it gives me 6437 premier points on Club Premier.
How many qualifying points (for gold level) does this flight give? is it 12874 points, 6437 points, or 0 points?
I sent an inquiry email to their support a week ago, but have not heard back.
I am 5000 points away to reach gold level before April, so I need to plan ahead.
BTW, I am new to Club Premier.

Sorry this is so late! I'm answering for everyone's reference.
Your 8,000 mile V class flight on Delta would earn 8000 * 1.6 = 12800 * 0.5 = 6400 premier points for spending. (They don't use the real mi to km equivalence). For gold level, you would get 12800 qualifying points. Qualifying points now reset on Jan 1st, and you need 50000 for gold or 80,000 for platinum.

This helps greatly, I was looking for this and same thing emailed Aeromexico and no return.

What about on premium fares? Do you know how it works for example an Aeromexico flight on Clase Premiere that has 200% Premier Points accrual, do I get 200% Elite miles as well?

I am looking into becoming AM FF.

haha welcome to AM. With luck they'll help you on the phone.

I haven't flown paid premium cabin on AM for a while, but in July 2016 I flew on I class (Clase Premier non-flex) and I got 1,000 km for the flight and 500km for the cabin, both for spendable miles and for elite-qualifying. So my guess is - yes, cabin bonuses count.

However, the bonuses you get for flexible economy (eg, domestic M class gets 25% extra) are only for spendable miles, not for elite qualification.

Hope this helps!
