GOL - any experience with flight cancellations and hotel accommodation in 2 room?
A couple days ago GOL cancelled a flight from Joinville to Congonhas due to weather conditions...TAM and the smaller Azul landed and started within 20 min difference... all customers were transferred to Curitiba and for the next day. None of us was rebooked to TAM or Azul. So... app 2 hour bus ride to the Hotel in Curitiba - and to the surprice of everyone only double beds with strangers. being a loyal GOL Diamante passenger with an high tarif ticket an extremely disappointing service! Is this what Delta and Air France paid for? the service clients should expect?

That is really shocking - never heard of having to share rooms with strangers anywhere in the world. Am starting to regret having pursued Gol Diamond status...

Doubt this is a common policy even with Gol. Everyone was booked two people to a room even if not together? You asked why? Due to Gol saving money or, perhaps, lack of availability? So, what was your roommate like? Gol is a code share partner of DL, but not all Gol flights are code share, of course.

Everybody. Only double rooms available at the Hotel and no GOL representative. Decided to book my own Hotel - there were plenty available in Curitiba. No discussing with GOL reimbursement
