http://www.lan.com/en_us/promociones...cion_5000.html

Didn't there used to be a 5K km sign up?

Ha ha, URL says yes, page says no. I am sure another more handsome promo will swing by, wait until you really want it.

Well, it is only 500 on the Peru and Canada sites... I only remember 1000 as max sign up bonus, but maybe someone "older" than me can remember differently

I am afraid you will have to lower your expectations MJLouise

Just because LAN offers a 1000km sign up bonus, you should not take it for granted that

a) You can sign up
b) You will get a bonus

doesn't work

Still not able to sign in, get an error after the form (op not completed).

BTW, text on landing page also refers to 5000 bonus:

What are kilometers worth?
Just to give you an idea of the benefits you can receive, if you subscribe to our program and purchase a ticket from New York to Santiago you'll get 5,000 kms (subscription) + 1,000 kms (purchase on LAN.com) + 16.464 kms (Flew Round Trip New York - Santiago) a total of 22, 464 kms equivalent to 50% of a ticket from Usa to South America* in low season or an upgrade for a flight within South America

Don't get your hopes up, LAN often has out of date information and, depending on which site you use, contradictory. That is why we often indicate which site we are quoting from...

Most of the country sites offer 500, but if you need ammunicion the Peru site still offers 1000 on home page... do a screen shot and sent it with your request?

Samesame (though the offer said 1000 when I signed up). I'm calling instead of writing.
