SeaPort starts frequent flyer program
SeaPort has started/updated its frequent flyer program.
Basically, you get 500 points per (one-way) flight and get a free one-way ticket at 7500 points. (ie after 15 one-way flights, or 8 round-trips)
7500 points in a year means elite status which entitles you to bonus points and a few other perks. SeaPort has no first class and with just 9 seats on a plane I don't think anyone would need or care for priority boarding.
They do not seem to have partnered with any other program...so your points will only get you where SeaPort goes.

El Dorado is getting Love Field Dallas service starting July 15th per the announcement this morning. One flight a day departing El Dorado , AR (ELD) in the morning with and evening return from Dallas. I would presume Hot Springs is also getting Love Field (DAL) Service. I also read in the Harrison Arkansas newspaper online that there will be a Harrison flight to DAL as well.

SeaPort DAL
Just released in today's Hot Springs newspaper, Hot Springs, AR and El Dorado, AR to DAL(flight will probably originate in HRO, Harrison AR).Other details not released yet and may be tomorrow, but it is finally happening.Local TV says no TSA inbound to DAL but you will have to outbound.More info to come.Have taken the HOT-DFW on the Mesa for years, this will be great for HOT there is a market for the Dallas area, and with the WN/FL merger it'll be good, DFW a short cab ride away. There still is a lot of local DAL traffic from HOT anyhow, so hoping people will use it.Mesa was pretty lonely with few on board the B1900D's and had a "private" plane all to myself a few flights.Use it or lose it, costs a lot to drive to LIT, then back to LIT, pay high parking, then more gas back to HOT.Free parking at HOT, few steps to counter and then on SeaPort's PC-12.(maybe they will use Caravan?) HOT has quite a few ex Comair/ASA EMB120's, EMB 145's and RJ's for lease if needed also parked all around the field.

Of course, it didn't help that their schedule was so pathetic, and that the Salem airport jacked up its parking fee to $3/day. (NOTE to Salem airport officials: "Free parking" is a far more powerful marketing gimmick than the paltry revenue you'll lose.)

Yup - I saw the article this morning. Nonstops to BFI might have worked with some decent marketing, but it is what it is. SLE should have been able to muster the 3 passengers/flight to Seattle even with the connection at PDX. Your point on parking is well taken.

Still need about 800 more people to like their Facebook page to meet their 3k by the end of September goal and allow someone to win their free flight promo. Nice page to like, since they have frequent ticket giveaways. Very convenient for people in the Pacific Northwest or Mid-South markets as well as future conectees.

Well, SeaPort lasted almost 6 months in Boise...that's a little long than it lasted in Salem. Guess the lesson with SeaPort is to never buy your ticket more than a few weeks in advance. Their route map is subject to change at any moment.

new route: PDX-OTH
Well, we now know what SeaPort is planning to do with those planes they pulled off the BOI service. They're going to North Bend for 3x daily service to PDX. This is an unusual case of SeaPort offering service that duplicates a mainline carrier, although United Express seems to be running just one daily departure on that segment these days.

SeaPort Airlines Drops Flagship Route
Airline passengers who want to travel between the Northwest's two largest cities will have one fewer option soon. Portland-based SeaPort Airlines says it will drop its namesake route between Portland and Seattle's Boeing Field later this month.

A look at their route map shows the extent to which SeaPort suckles at the teat of subidies, either locally supported or EAS. Once that money dries up, SeaPort flies away like a dead leaf in an autumn wind.

BFI shuttle service?
I apologize in advance if this is offtopic, but as former users of BFI with SeaPort, could you recommend a good/reliable/decent value shuttle service to get 7-10 staff from BFI to downtown/CBD Seattle?

SeaPort Announces Taxpayer Subsidized Flights To NFL Games
Yep, now you can fly taxpayer-subsidized SeaPort Airlines to catch a Tennessee Titans NFL game. SeaPort will fly you from Jackson, TN to Nashville and back on Sundays during football season for just $70 round-trip, with a schedule designed to fit the Titans' home schedule.
Thanks to the Essential Air Service program, passengers departing Jackson are subsidized to the tune of $244 each according to this ABC news article. The flights save them from the perils of a 130 mile drive along Interstate 40.
Nice to know our tax dollars are helping NFL fans get to the game. I'll bet some of them are paying more for their ticket than for the flight to get there in the first place.
