Mexicana status match

Does anyone know if Mexicana still matches status? And if so, where to apply?

Bump

I'd like to know as well if MX still does status matches. From the Master Thread it seems as if they did it very readily. The MX contact email address given there was closed!

Cheers

No, they do not.

A colleague of mine tried recently, and even with some upcoming pre confirmed business class travel an email reply simply stated they don't offer matches any more.

Shame, OW status for some of us *G's would be useful!

I received this email from Malev today, might they be the new MX for easy *G matches? I don't have any Malev flights so I can't take them up on this!

Thank you very much for your email addressed to the Malév Service Centre.

With regards to your request, we would like to inform you that our frequent
flyer department will look into the possibility you have mentioned. There are
some further actions needed on your side, and they are as follows:

- Please register online for the DunaClub program and send us your membership
number.

- Please scan your Star Alliance Gold card and send the copy to us.

- Please also attach at least one boarding pass of a trip on a scheduled Malev
flight within the past 3 months.

Received this from MX today, looks like they are now a no-go!

~

I inform you that at the moment there is no agreement with any airline for the Status equivalent with us, so you will start as a “Welcome” member if you join our program. Plus, Mexicana is not partner with Continental. We are barely starting with One World Alliance and still have many agreements to accomplish.
