Gulf Air Codeshare - help please

Hi
Im new to this forum - usually on the BAEC one, but i have a Gulf Air question.

Last Dec i flew back to LCA (Larnaca Cyprus) from DBX ticketed in Gulf and had the awful experience of Cyprus Airways, which i do my best to avoid.

When booking on Gulf does anyone know how to avoid the codeshare flights with CY and stay on Gulf metal ??

Thanks.

All 4-digit Gulf Air flights are codeshares operated by another airline. Gulf Air uses its own metal to LCA on Tu Th and Sa (GF 941) GF5583/5593 are codeshares operated by CY.

Cheers,
