Voyager miles on emirates
SAA website very unclear if I can use SAA miles for a free flight on EK. Looks like I can upgrade but unclear if I can use for a free ticket JNB-DXB?

You can use Voyager miles on EK. Rate not great though. See https://www.flysaa.com/Journeys/cms/...dForMiles.html under the heading:

yes, you can, unless there has been a very recent change. Redemption levels are insane, though.
