EY Baggage Problem

As an EY Gold Customer and someone who has moved 95% of my business from SQ to EY, I'm a bit amazed that on a recent flight to LHR EY damaged and temporarily lost two of my bags. Claims were filed, receipts sent in, and then nothing was heard from the EY office at LHR.

Finally I got someone on the phone who refused to let me speak to the duty manager but literally relayed our entire phone conversation to him...like I was speaking to the Emperor of China in the throne room.

They said that they would transfer my case to the GVA office for settlement but I've heard nothing from them either. Is it possible to file a complaint against EY in the UK or does anyone on this board have a good EY contact?

for what its worth...i flew diamond class with them a while back..it took nearly 2yrs to get a settlement check of 250$ for the damage claim i filled in AUH....i eventually just worked with the JFK EY ground baggage ops...they were the ones who really helped me!!! even though I flew only AUH-DEL sector!!and JFK was not even involved.
somewhere on this board should be a thread....i have not done a search..but you could try..it was generated by me and has some contacts and info provided to me by another FT'er
Good Luck!

I recently had a huge problem with my luggage transiting through AUH (granted a bit of this was my fault) I got through an amazing luggage agent in AUH - "ROCKY" try him!

Well I suppose I will just sue them in GB Small Claims. The latest update is that my assistant spoke to the Station Manager who said I "was offered a replacement bag," which was a total lie. She said no other compensation will be offered because I chose to have a "designer bag." Right... I have a samsonite Flite hardside, which they destroyed. The people at the LHR office are truly horrendous.
