I also had a reason to be in Asia and used some of my bmi cash and miles to get across to Asia and thought I'd return with Egyptair since F earns 300% and C earns 200% in destinations and status miles
I am working through a trip report right now, for a trip I took with my family to Jordan in July this year. This will include BKK-AMM flight in Crown on RJ.

Toumai Air Tchad
I knew I should have whipped out my camera when I flew Toumai Air Tchad on the once weekly NDJ-AEH route! (Toumai's airline code is 9D for those who just went scrambling for Google.) The Toumai passenger fleet consists of one 732 and one Fokker 28.....we flew the Fokker. I took solace in knowing that at least the aircraft was built solidly despite whatever wear and tear/poor maintenance record it had flying around Chad for the past x number of years.
Security was decent - had to take off our belts but not our boots. All guns were left outside security The departure lounge at NDJ which we shared with over a hundred chain smoking French military awaiting their A330 flight home was comfortable enough. We boarded over an hour late for no apparent reason - no announcement. So we got to know the French military guys a bit. They were ready to get home.
The flight was also overbooked by 1 but the crew didn't realize that until everyone had boarded and one poor guy was left standing in the aisle He had a military uniform on and I imagine that was why he was not IVB'ed. I doubt the guy who ended up getting off-loaded got any compensation. If he did it probably would have been a seat on the next flight, 7 days later.
All in all we arrived safely, had an in-flight beverage service better than that on USAirways (all beverages were free including water and all our luggage arrived with us. When I come to think about it, this experience wasn't all that different than that of most US airlines these days
Next trip to Chad in March I'll try to snap a pic of the Toumai planes and the WFP AirServ flights we take! Happy travels!

Hi warda, Welcome to FlyerTalk and the Mid-East/Africa FFP forum.
If your total allowance is 30kg per person, then (generally) I'd think you're fine i[ to that limit or slightly above.
For the specifics of how strictly AF enforces baggage weights, you're best to ask in the Air France forum(after using the search button to find older discussions and answers - about CDG, checkin and baggage weight).
I've asked the forum volunteers to kindly move this question to that forum, so you can both get an answer, learn more about Air France and CDG generally and to find out about all of the existing info on CDG.
Good luck!
[mods, please send my answer across too, if you move the message to AF FP!]

I'll add all of these to the OP in the thread.
I like that the threads are in your signature.
Just to add: TRIPLE EK miles April-June in many F & J flights.
