Gulf Air back to Sydney - nonstop service?

Recently flew GF on a few sectors and got chatting with a lovely Cabin Manager I remembered from my GF Sydney days. It apparently has been stronly rumored in GF that when GF aquires its 20 new A330's -Sydney may well be re-introduced. As the singer Adele said "rumour has it!"

Sydney?? well...I think their newly introduced European routes sank and got cancelled for losses...

can't imagine all the way to Sydney!

I'll adopt a 'wait and see' approach...I'm also unsure if an A333 or A332 have ER versons for 14 hr routes?

If that's the case I would be taking them again. Likelihood is close to nill though and chances are they would have to do it via KUL or SIN.

Or maybe Bangkok since there is more people going there!

They closed the BAH-KUL route and that was the stupidest decision ever!! That route was selling really well across the year!!
