Royal Jordanian has revamped its Royal Plus Program with new structures designed to make it easier for members to qualify for the next tier.
Tiers are divided into Blue Plus, Silver Plus, Gold Plus and Platinum Plus, and miles earned are based on distance travelled, class and fare.
Beyond the entry level Blue Plus, business travellers need 15,000 miles (14 segments) to reach Silver, 35,000 (28 segments) for Gold and 55,000 (42 segments) for Platinum.
Moreover, they must collect 12,000 (12), 30,000 (24) and 50,000 (36) miles respectively to maintain their tier.
Silver members receive an additional 15% bonus tier miles with every flight they make on the airline; check-in at Business Class counters when flying RJ or oneworld; an extra 10kgs checked baggage allowance on RJ flights only; and priority placement on reservation waiting list (RJ flights only).
Gold Plus members receive an additional 35% bonus tier miles for every flight they make, along with access to all Royal Jordanian and 550 oneworld alliance lounges worldwide with one guest when flying RJ or oneworld; priority upgrades; check-in at Business Class counters; an extra 25kgs checked baggage allowance on RJ flights only; priority placement on reservation waiting list (RJ flights only); and free ticket to any of its 59 destinations worldwide.
Platinum Plus members automatically receive an additional 50% bonus tier miles for each flight and, in addition to Gold Plus benefits listed above, an extra 32kgs checked baggage allowance on RJ flights only.
