Expired: Get $60/40 euro for Accor signup

Not sure if this has been posted, but you can signup fo A Club and get 2000 reward points for doing so. This gets you half way to a 2000 mile conversion for several airlines or a $60/40 euro voucher for your next stay.

Use promo code "2009BirthdayBonus" by 9/30/09

It looks like you get the €40 voucher no matter what (not as an either/or):
Quote:
Join the A|Club program for free before September 30, 2009 and earn an A|Club rewards gift voucher worth €40!
The voucher, I assume, can be used to discount the value of a future Accor-chain hotel stay by €40.

You can also select a USD 60 voucher instead of EUR 40, as I did yesterday...

Sign up with the promo code, go to the rewards sections and you will see both the Euro and USD options.

I also think that you can use for Europcar.

OK, maybe this is a stupid question, but..... the T&C's say that vouchers can be used at any of the following brands:

Quote:
A|Club rewards gift vouchers are valid every day until the expiration date shown on the front of the voucher to pay for all or part of the Member's services (including one night minimum) provided by Sofitel, Pullman, MGallery, Novotel, Mercure, Suitehotel, ibis and all seasons hotels, as well as Accor Thalassa hotels.
So if I want to use a voucher at the Novotel Shanghai, do I get it denominated in euros or dollars? Or are we to assume that if you can only get vouchers in euros or dollars that you can only use the vouchers in the US or euro-Europe?

Obviously, I am confused.

What page of the process does it request the promo code? I'm up to page 4 -last page, and don't see where I put in the promo for enrollment.

Does anyone know the expiration date of these points if you dont immediately redeem them for a voucher? I know that the vouchers expire after 1 year, but couldnt find any other information on the subject on their website.
