Does anyone know the expiration date of these points if you dont immediately redeem them for a voucher? I know that the vouchers expire after 1 year, but couldnt find any other information on the subject on their website.

7.3. Validity of A|Club points
A|Club points are valid for a period of 12 months (365 consecutive days) following the date on which they were recorded. Validity is extended for 365 days each time the Member generates a hotel credit transaction on his or her account (not including Adjustments).
If the Member does not generate any Transactions during a 365 day period, all previously-acquired A|Club points on his or her account are lost without notice and without the possibility of restoring or converting them.
The promo code is in the first post, but not working anymore. Good thing that Accor came into their senses. It was very foolish to offer 40€ or 60$ for just signing up.

Contrary to both the subject line of the e-mail from Accor and the title of this thread, you do NOT receive 60 USD or 40 Euros! Instead, you receive 2,000 points which can be redeemed as (if I understand correctly) partial payment for a hotel night at SOME (not all) of Accor's chains.
That is a BIG difference. You ONLY get value from these points if you stay at one of their hotels. So, they are offering an incentive to 1) join their loyalty program and 2) stay (and pay partially in cash). This is NOT foolish at all -- it's a smart way to gain some new customers, fill some rooms, and generate some revenue.
The only thing foolish about this promo is the misleading e-mail saying "Get USD 60!"
By the way, the e-mail says that the offer is good till September 30.

You're incorrect Kathy.
The 2000 points can be instantly redeemed for a $60 fully transferable voucher, so if your "family" were to all signup and combine the vouchers then you'd have enough for a free night (or more).

This promo seems to be confusing the heck out of people... Its really not all that complicated. The only thing that I have to admit I was confused about for a split second was just where the Promo code is supposed to be.
If one clicks on the link that doublezheng posted just a few posts up notice that the Promo Code "2009BirthdayBonus" is already pre-entered in line for a promo code. This is on the very first page to sign up, ("Step #1") before you even enter your email address. If you've already entered your email address & you aren't sure if the promo code has been applied you may have gone too far already.... But again, if you click on the link that doublezheng posted, you should be all set to go.
On another note, anyone figure out how to make this promo help in Providing a "Hit" for the US Airways "Grand Slam" Promo??? Accor (A-Club) is indeed listed in the T's & C's of the Grand Slam Promo as one of the 10 hotel partners that will count as a hit if one transfers Hotel Points to US Airways Dividend Miles.
It sure appears that the minimum amount of Points that can be converted to US Airways is 4,000 A-Club Points which converts to 2,000 US Airways Dividend Miles. Which raises the question, how can one accumulate 4,000 A-Club Points??? Has anyone been successful in transfering points from one individuals account into another individuals account or along the same lines, if somehow one mistakenly had 2 accounts open, would it be possible to consolidate the 2 accounts into one account with 4,000 Points?" I'm guessing this is pretty unlikely, but just wanted to throw it out there & see if anyone had any thoughts...
4K points is $60 in hotels. Do you realy want to pay $60 for a US hit and 2k miles?
