Vintage, Seattle.

Got bottled-watered again. With "Green Choice" bottled water, which is a cruel oxymoron. Nothing is less green than bottled water.

Sigh.

LA Hotel Palomar.

Beverage amenity - A bottle of sparkling wine and a bottle of water. HIT.
Food amenity - Nothing (so MISS, right? )
Upgrade - Upgraded to a Skyline View King. It's... fine. I was kind of hoping for a suite since I've never stayed in one here, but no luck. Let's call it a MEH, why don't we...

No food at all in the amenity is a little weird. Not that big of a deal for me this time given my schedule, but still a little weird.

Beverage Amenity – Flask-sized bottle of gin (200mL) and a bottle of tonic. HIT (although ice and some limes would have been a real hit)
Food amenity – A mid-sized box of chocolate (8 pieces). HIT
Upgrade – To a Hudson River Suite. Really beautiful. HIT.

Eventi
Beverage Amenity -- Full size bottle of champagne and bottle of water. HIT
Food amenity -- Bowl of mixed nuts, small box of chocolates. HIT
Upgrade - To an Executive one bedroom suite. HIT.

Onyx Hotel (Boston)
Beverage amenity - mini-bottle of gin + bottle of tonic + a couple of bottles of water.
Food amenity - bowl of almonds
Upgrade - Not sure. Think I got bumped to a King Premier (instead of a King Deluxe)

Overall, was fine. Not a particular standout, but fine.

Ink 48 (2 stays)
Amenity: Fresh fruit and water (HIT, but my amenity is fairly simple)
Upgrade: Hudson River Suite 1st stay, City view King 2nd stay (I actually liked this room better!)

70 Park
Amenity: As mentioned previously, they have no kitchen/restaurant staff, so they offer $30 minibar credit
Upgrade: King Premier Room, small jacuzzi tub
Late Check out: Was told I automatically had until 2pm as an IC member.

I had heard terrible things about this property, so had fairly low expectations. It was the only property I was able to book in NY this weekend using my free nights so I had no choice. That said, I had quite a pleasant stay at 70 Park!

The Brice, Savannah, Oct. 26

:: A six-pack of Rogue Dead Guy
:: A Ghirardelli dark chocolate bar
:: Upgraded to a King Premier Suite

Well done, Brice. I'll add that the loaner bikes here are particularly useful for cruising around Savannah's historic downtown.

Hotel Vintage, Seattle

Never missed, usually a decent base hit with occasional home runs. I usually get a bottle of wine (almost never drink it, but good to have the option) and some fresh fruit. Almost always get a room upgrade.

The home run was a bowl of fresh raspberries, a bowl of fresh blueberries, bottled water, and wine. Oh, and I got upgraded.

I am at this property every two weeks.

Monaco, Washington D.C., November 1st, 2014

Amenities - None provided

Room is quite possibly the smallest I've ever been in.

edit: Finally got around to the review, here.

No welcome amenity over at the Monaco in Alexandria either at check-in, but at least my room is very nice.

I didn't get one at the Prescott - is that normal? I didn't really mind, since the extended wine hour had us totally covered in the food+drink departments.

Nothing - however it was a late reservation and I was provided drink vouchers and offered comped sushi at Zentan.
