There will probably be a holiday one again this year. If I recall, last year the holiday one was announced late November/early December. So, probably not in 2 weeks, but you never know.

15/9 we were offered a free in room movie for password at check in. We paid for an e@upgrade for a high floor of $56 ($14 a night) but the free upgrade from river view room to corner river view spa suite was amazing

Nothing special offered/provided at Hotel Monaco Seattle. I love the staff here but I am thinking something must have been going on because I didn't get a nice room nor any amenity. The thing is, this staff is just so warm and wonderful that it is impressive!

Best place to check for a new password is the Kimpton Facebook page. Nothing yet. In previous years, I think the winter word has come out in early December.

December stay at Palomar in LA on a Karma Reward. Despite being longtime Kimpton guests (new to Flyertalk) just learned from this thread about secret password. Will it be applicable at Palomar? I saw the new password a couple of posts up. How do I find out how long that password is good for? Thanks for any advice.

Just saw on Kimpton Facebook page password is good until March 2016 so that question answered. Still wondering about applicability at Palomar and whether being on a reward res makes a difference.

I've used the password on an award stay and received something extra. Shouldn't be an issue.

Will be on another award stay on this upcoming Friday, so will be able to confirm that award stays still receive the benefits of the password.

Reward stay doesn't matter at all, I've definitely used the secret phrase before on both rewards stays and complimentary Inner Circle nights. I've also used it at the LA Palomar (not on rewards nights though), and have gotten offered drink certificates, parking credit/discount, a continental breakfast, or restaurant credit (with various things offered at different stays).
