I stayed at the Alexis on Thursday and got free parking for saying the secret password.

Hotel Monaco, DC; $30 off breakfast, bar bill or even room bill! What a deal! $118 room rate became $89!
Morrison House, Alex; play spin the wheel; got a cheese and cracker plate. I could have won 1/2 price parking, but I was there on a Sunday, street parking is free (and I parked right across the street from the hotel).
Hotel Palomar, DC; started off, $10 off parking per night. I asked for something better; got offer $10 off two days bar bills. Come on folks; this is my fourth stay this month at a Kimpton; four continental breakfast coupons, two each day; sold; a $52 value.

Palomar San Diego gave me two mini bottles of alcohol. There certainly is some range to the secret password gift. Last summer I got a free movie from the Monaco in Salt Lake City. Neither of those is anywhere near the value of what others have been reporting here. But free is free, so it is what it is.

70 Park in NYC gives parking but since I didn't drive, I got drink vouchers instead. Parking is $54/day and I was there for 2 nights. I didn't get $108 in drink vouchers.

As always, YMMV, thegrailer. Overall, I think the Kimpton chain treats is loyal clients pretty damn well.

Had 3 stays in the DC area this weekend and used the secret word and got free parking each time at the Lorien, Monaco (Alexandria) and the Helix.

Monaco Baltimore. Said "sugarplum" at check-in. A bottle of Wycliff champagne was sent up a few hours later.

Sugar Plum netted us a $25 credit at the Atwood Cafe at the Hotel Burnham in Chicago. Was hoping for free valet parking ($54).
