My nomination:
Earnings are always based on marketing carrier - not operating carrier as with most other programs. This means it does not matter if you fly a non-partner, you will earn as long as the flight is ticketed with a partner airline-code.

Not always, you do not earn miles on tickets that are OK marketed but operated by Etihad. So for OK flight on Etihad you only get distance miles, no bonus or EQM.
