EU 261 Question [Norwegian]
My flight OAK to ARN was delayed by 2 hours, but that was long enough to miss my 1 hour 20 minute connection to Bergen. They booked me on their next flight to Bergen 24 hours later. Norwegian claims they don't know the reason for the delay. Weather was fine everywhere - nothing obvious.
I ended up taking an SAS flight and arrived 7 hours late to Bergen. Paid for this out of my own pocket.
Do I qualify for compensation based on the connection delay?
Even If I don't get any money, the total fare was less than half the legacy price, so I can't complain too much, but I do want to get the comp allowed.

Presuming one ticket OAK-BGO, DY owes you EUR 600 + something by way of "duty of care". Make the EC 261/2004 and let DY prove otherwise.
Also, under the same assumption, I hope that you cancelled your ARN-BGO flight on DY. You are entitled to a refund of that segment of your ticket.
